Head Start Site and Instructional Leadership Webinar Series

Using “How do I know” to Support Better Data Collection

When: Wednesday, October 21,2020 | 12:00 PM EST

A free, live webinar event.

We are often asked, “How much evidence is enough,” when using an observation-based assessment tool. In this webinar, participants will learn how to use questions that begin with “How do I know” to create a personalized plan for collecting meaningful evidence of children’s learning. The focus will be on three questions:

  • How do I know what children already know?
  • How do I know what children need to know?
  • How do I know what’s the next best step?
