Best Practices for Early Childhood Education Continuity

Using Family Observations as GOLD® Documentation

When: Thursday, April 30, 2020 | 12:00 PM EST

A free, live webinar event.

As many programs contemplate how to continue with their  GOLD® spring checkpoint during the COVID-19 crises, we wanted to highlight a feature now available to all GOLD® teachers and MyTeachingStrategies® Family users that streamlines communication around how children are developing and learning at home while schools are closed. In this webinar, we will demonstrate how family members can share observations with teachers via MyTeachingStrategies® Family, and how teachers can then convert those family observations into documentation to inform their  GOLD® spring checkpoint. In addition, we will offer strategies on how teachers can encourage families to easily capture informative observations to share with their child’s teachers, and we will hold a question and answer session.
