Best Practices for Early Childhood Education Continuity

Let’s Talk: School Transitions and Readiness

When: Tuesday, May 26, 2020 | 12:00 PM EST

A free, live webinar event.

It isn’t too early. Now is the time to start planning for how you can you support families and children with successful and safe transitions into pre-K and kindergarten in the fall. Right now, there are more questions than answers, but we’re committed to confronting these challenges with you! How do we help families understand what's most important for children to know on the first day of kindergarten? Given the uncertainty of fall learning settings, what is most critical to support children's transitions? Join our Teaching Strategies team as we share ideas and resources to help you guide families and children through this uncharted territory, discuss reasonable expectations, and answer your questions about supporting families during times of transition. You will have several opportunities during the webinar to share about your program’s plans and ask questions if you feel you could use more guidance. We will share the resources we create in the coming months, informed by your insights, with everyone who joins.
